Honda Recalls 2006 CR-V SUV and 2011 Fit,CR-Z Hybrid

recalls 2011 Honda CRZ-2006 CR-V and Fit

80,000 of the popular 2006 Honda CR-V suvs have power window switches being blamed for the recall problem. Apparently when cleaners within the power window system allow the residue to build up on the power-window master switch, it damages the electrical contacts and possibly leading to a fire.

Windows and Shifting problems plague Honda hot models.

The 2011 Honda hybrid CR-Z claimed 5,626 manual transmission models where the car could roll forward or backward out of gear when the hybrid engine stalled while the hybrid battery ran low.   The Honda Fit was also included in the manual transmission recall, however most of the Fit’s affected, were sold outside the U.S.

None of the Honda CR-V, CR-Z or Fit  recall complaints have been inhvolved in an accidents at the time of the recall release.
