How do I know a Personal Car Consultant is right for me… and then what do I do?

If you… don’t have the time or desire to drive to multiple car dealerships and spend hours negotiating to obtain a good price on a car.

If you… prefer to buy your car like you buy books from Amazon and shoes from Zappos.

If you… want to save both time and money during the purchasing process.

If you… want a great price, awesome customer service, and a convenient, one-stop-shopping experience.

I work primarily with repeat and referral clients, and many from the internet, so I depend on your 100% satisfaction (see Testimonials) to increase my business via word-of-mouth. When you share your MYCARLADY experience with your friends, business associates and family, you have given me the HIGHEST compliment any business owner could hope to achieve.

This is how my process works:

  1. When I recieve your call or email inquiry I respond with an email or phone call  (remember I’m on PST) and followup with a copy of the MYCARLADY agreement and PROFILE Page. You identify and research the specific model and features of the car you want to buy. If you don’t know what you want, we will discuss the possibilities before you start test driving.  The profile is important so I can help you narrow your focus.
  2. TEST DRIVES. I will help arrange test drives for you, so you avoid HIGH PRESSURE salespeople. You test drive that vehicle or a similar car and (if you want) ask the dealer for a price. BUT NO CREDIT REPORT IS REQUIRED.

IMPORTANT:  If you are shopping around for the “lowest” possible price, you need to contact the dealers first to obtain the “lowest” price quote before you call me.  After you have the best price quote that you can find, call me, and I will quickly let you know if I can beat that price, which I often can.  However, I must be the last person you contact about pricing the car you want to buy. 

  1. You obtain pre-approval for financing before you call me.  I can assist with financing through the dealership.
  2. Once you know the car and features that you want, and have been pre-approved for financing, you call and tell me the make, model, color, and options that you would like.
  3. I will then attempt to locate a vehicle that exactly matches your specifications through my well established network of dealers.
  4. Once I’ve located a car that matches your specifications, I will call or email you with a price quote.  If the price is acceptable to you, then we will arrange a convenient date and time for delivery.
  5. PRE-OWNED CARS:   I will need time to find the car and you will need to be flexible with colors, mileage and options.  I do not usually work with PRE-OWNED vehicle searches under $10,000., However, it doesn’t hurt to ask because I have had success watching out for low priced, CASH cars.
