I’m looking @ 3/4 and 1T diesels. Looks like the 5.9 cummins is still the best of the lot. What is your recommendation, considering the overall vehicle?

I leased a Chrysler 200 last Saturday thru Ally. I traded in my old car (paid off)and asked for a $1,000 cash back. They told me to call in a few days to ask for the check to be mailed to me. I called the dealer today, a week later, and they asked me for 2 yrs tax returns. I have a signed lease and the new car. Why would I be asked after the fact? Should I give the dealer the paperwork? Also, they said my cash back won’t be available for 5 days after they finalize the lease.

Hi Ryan,
It sounds like the tax returns are a condition of approval. If you signed paperwork indicating you would provide all necessary documents to the lender, you owe them this information to verify you make what you put down on the credit application. If the documents do not provide the information they want, they will unwind the deal, returning their car and getting yours back, and you move on. You can’t keep the car without giving them the docs.

Dealerships for used cars in Calgary will probably
have a range of possibilities for financing a
purchase. The cars on this list were chosen under the assumption that the buyer is paying cash, rather than taking out a loan which carries
a monthly payment. Not only will you have to prove you are not the legal
owner of the vehicle, it will have a negative impact on
your credit score too.

Hi Sarah,
My name is Prang and I’m moving to Maryland in about 4 weeks. I’m looking for a reliable car with minimum payment. I’m not sure whether I should buy used or lease a car, lease is more preferable. My price range is anywhere below $12,000. By thw way, I’m only 21 years old so I’m looking for something a little fashionable as well. Please get back to me. Thank you very much.
Best,
Prang Pan
