Dealerships are reporting strong sales of new cars as factories offer huge year-end lot clearing incentives to make room for 2014 models.
Many dealers have suffered with no inventory this summer, although Toyota and Nissan seem to have plenty of 2013 models. Kia and Hyundai are offering 2014 cars with lower rebates, in the hopes of convincing cross-over brand shoppers to get a 2014 with more features, for the price of a 2013.
Ford is offering great rebates, low interest rates and some combinations of both on their remaining 2013 cars and trucks!
School starts soon, so will Labor Day 2013 Model year Close-out deals.
The lack of 2014 models in luxury car brands: Mercedes Benz, Acura and BMW have pushed incentives higher for Lexus, Jaguar and Porsche, who have had 2014 models on the lot for over two months. Look for Jaguar to offer .90% financing on the XJ and XJL models. a Best-in-Class for the large sedan class of luxury models. Right now you can score $4000 off a 2013 XF and $6000 off any remaining 2013 XJ or XJL at Gaudin. (Must be cash or finance, no leases)
