FIAT, FAH-GET ABOUT IT!

Dodge Diesel 6.7l
I have never been so furious with the automotive industry and Chrysler in particular until now. Imagine my hair on fire as I write this. PLEASE, add your comments to this blog. Register your opinion, it’s YOUR money at risk.
The gall of Chrysler and Fiat to blatantly propose this robbery of the American public. First of all, they are both PRIVATE companies! Yet, in the interest of our brethren losing their jobs and the entire domestic auto industry collapsing, the government gave Chrysler $5.5 BILLION to “stay afloat” under the threat of bankruptcy. So the US Treasury hands over our savings to a company so badly mismanaged they were redesigning the most inefficient gas hog of a truck while gas was over $4.00 a gallon.
Now these same masterminds have the audacity to announce a sale of 35% of their assets to a foreign company, if we give them 3 Billion more!
Why not give every small business in America $20,000.00 and really make a dent in the economy of everyone, not just one gigantic monstrosity of clueless reality? Are you kidding? Really, I think Washington should wake up and call the charade for what it is.
Where is the full accounting of the money the automakers got?
Is the Wall Street Journal going to publish a list of exactly where and who got a piece of this bailout? Where is the transparency in all this handout nonsense?
I know one things for sure, not one car buyer got a bewter interest rate or even the ability to buy a car since the bailout check was cashed. Dealers are not seeing customers getting car loans today, that last month were turned down. Chrysler Financial and GMAC haven’t bought any deeper. Dealers aren’t taking inventory of new 2009’s while 2008’s are still around and 2009 models aren’t flying off the lots.
So what makes FIAT think we need more cars? Is FIAT going to FIX the Cummins 6.7L Diesel EGR and DPF problems? IS FIAT going to buyback all the Cummins 6.7L Rams with check engine lights and replace them with FIAT Diesels? Just wait til the EPA gets their hands on the FIAT diesel, HA! another disaster waiting to happen.
HELLO AMERICA are you willing to cough up another $3 BILLION, so one private, foreign company can buy a 35% stake in another private company? DO YOU CARE? The handwriting is on the wall, if anyone wants to stand-up and call it out for what it is. Chrysler did a money grab and the BK isn’t far away. Industry expert Rebecca Lindland was quoted by the Associated Press as saying: “The agreement “will significantly improve the chances of Chrysler paying that money back.”
Yeah right. I hope the government accountants get an income statement before they file. I want to be listed as a creditor when they file.
VOTE NO on FIAT. FIX IT AGAIN TONY needs to stay home or purchase $3 Billion in Rams, Wranglers and 300′s for the cobblestone streets of Milan. We need more exports NOT IMPORTS!
Put your VOTE HERE! MAYBE enough comments here will get someone’s attention in WASHINGTON.
